What a great week in Chicago at the SOFT-TIAFT 2026 Joint Scientific Meeting!

This conference was an important opportunity for CURA to showcase our technologies, connect with leaders across the forensic and workplace toxicology communities, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

Expanding Our Xpeedy® mSPE Technology

We had productive discussions with industry leaders about potential business collaborations and broader commercialization of our Xpeedy® mSPE sample extraction technology. These conversations reinforced the growing need for efficient, automation-friendly sample preparation solutions for LC-MS/MS testing.

Showcasing Our Next-Generation Oral Fluid Collection Device

Our team presented the analytical performance of our Xpeedy® Oral Fluid Collection Device during the scientific poster session, highlighting drug recovery, matrix effects, and analyte stability. We were thrilled to see our poster become one of the most visited presentations during the session!

The device's innovative design, strong analytical performance, and streamlined workflow generated significant interest and discussion among industry leaders and representatives from federal programs, including DWP and NLCP.

A key differentiator is our “One Sample, Two Workflows” design: a single oral fluid collection can support both rapid screening and laboratory-based LC-MS/MS testing, eliminating the need for a second sample collection and helping simplify the overall testing workflow.

We are encouraged by the feedback and recognition our technologies received throughout the meeting. More importantly, the conversations and new relationships established at SOFT-TIAFT have opened exciting opportunities for future collaboration and commercialization.
